Space race began from the 1950.  Former USSR was the leading country in the space race. Their Sputnik, Yuri Gaggarin, Lika, Valentina Terescova made the space history. Their legacy and the records are unbreakable. With the political, Economical, and technological success American started to claim and challenge the USSR’s place. Later US also made some success in the process of space exploration. John Glane became the first American who reached the space. Even after such effort American were behind Soviet success. In 1962 in a public speech John F kennady announced “We chose to go to the moon”

Later as he said in a decade man made man crewed vessel left earth’s orbit and on July 21 1969 made the history by making the first foot print on moon. Those people grabbed the trophy of Space race. There are many conspiracies about the moon landing. I think man was on the moon. There were 6 manned moon landings including the first one. First crew included Niel Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin and Michel Collins. Armstrong was the first man to land on the moon. As life is a amazing, enjoyable and uncertain place even though we could hide between the stars every man should face his final moment. Yesterday Neil Armstrong the brave man of space exploration left us. Our respects go for his bravery and dedication. Rest in Peace sir. Neil Armstrong is a hero of our time.

Fake satisfaction which gain by supporting Russia and China to go against America.

Sri Lanka a small island. There are many other countries like us very small. In majority of world maps they don’t even give a time to put a dot on the place to mark our countries. Even though the situation is like this in political play and the tug of war we become major themes. An amazing phenomenon. Let’s take an example to understand the situation. America use it’s military power on Iraq and Afghanistan. This is not only to rob oil from Iraq it’s a very effective method to indirectly show the military capabilities to the nearby real enemy. Who is the nearby enemy of America? Who else? It’s Russia. According to our point of view Russia and China giving a peaceful fight against America and countries like us very gladly support their process. What actually Russia do? They screw the nearby small countries who receive American and European support. We never see how they fire short distance missiles and heavy artillery to these countries. The best examples are Georgia. Russia played the screwing character to screw America in their political tug of war. They used nearby Georgia. There was a internal fight in Georgia. According to the Russian and Chinese political theory about Iran and Syria the internal problems should be solved with in the country. Russia fires missiles to Georgia to screw America the reason they used was the Russian community lived in the effected are. They told Russian community is damaged by the Georgian military acts. So Russia forcefully interfered to Georgia. If Russians got killed why the world’s biggest country can’t let those people to come to Russia? Before the lives they should solve the political enigmas. The same political force applies to the nearby other countries which keep their mouth shut. Majority of those countries are poor or developing so they don’t have a opportunity to join European union or NATO so they remain under the Russian military boot. Finally Russia broke Georgia in to two separate countries. Smaller one under Russia a new country without recognition of UN. Have anyone thought about the people who belong to those areas? No one care. America is doing a bad thing. See closely Russia is doing the same. I don’t have enough time to describe what China did to Tibet. China Did it. Same forces we feel some times from India. Don’t we? Don’t think that the only reason to attack Iraq is the oil. The reason to attack Iraq is much expensive than the oil to Russia strategically. We always think about oil. Oil was a good out come through the political and military process. What I want to show is the political agendas in the world. Big strategies of rich countries. Those countries always show small countries an urge to take a side. Indirectly it is an invitation to take part in their future screwing plans. If we don’t think about this we would face very difficult times in the future. Real governments should adopt their own policies to survive. Our political policies should not have dependent points on other powerful countries. It’s time to think and refresh our policies, rules and methods. Sovereignty is a right. We shouldn’t put our sovereignty to the political market to earn money for the development.

Golden opportunities in the field of health.

According to a news article on BBC NHS(National health service) of United Kingdom is going to expand its services to abroad. This would be a golden opportunity developing commonwealth country like Sri Lanka. Why? Because we are searching new roads and opportunities to develop country’s economic, and social status. We can show the UK health service what kind of opportunities they have in our country, and what kind of opportunities, profits and development what we are looking. Sri Lanka a developing country our health system also a developing one relative to other countries. I’m not giving a statement that our health system is bad. Sri Lanka holds a good rank among other courtiers in the field of health and it’s not a secret.  What are the opportunities we can expect  from such a expanded UK health body in Sri Lanka? Let’s assume that we are going to receive a hospital mainly supplying surgical assistance to the patients. There are many new procedure and surgeries still we are not capable to do in Sri Lanka because of the lack of technology, lack of surgeons, and lack of training. Even though it would not be a government organization in Sri Lanka our patients would get best medical support and, treatments. People may say this would be another way to send our money to UK. Yes, we have to spend some money to get the medical intervention. Above matter would be a profitable one to UK. At the same time if think about job opportunities including and medical and non medical we have a way to take back an amount of money which would flow out from the country. In the same time if we think about to train our specialists under the experienced medical personals from UK it would be a nice way to acquire surgical skills. Such hospital or a medical body will attract the regional attention to us. The medical support would be an affordable one to Sri lankan. For sure it would be far less expensive than the same medical support in UK. So the nearby countries may look for the help in Sri Lanka an example Maldives.

There is a part which our governments should do. They should think about the profits and other development opportunities which surround the new opportunity. A honest plan with a good organization would be fruitful for sure. At the moment Middle East countries have already welcome to this opportunity. Still we are not late. We have enough time to think about this. Not only this about new opportunities to develop sri lanka.

Had a nice vacation in the hot summer

 in Russia. I was walking with a Russian family in the city of Belgorod. Youngster in the family goes to start his new school year. I asked why you need new books. What kind of books you need for this year? He replied mainly stationary. Then text books. Text books? Yes he replied. I was wondering a country adopted under the shelters of socialism changed. Russians buy their text books. I was very happy still we get our text books for free. The story about the school costumes the same. How lucky we are to have a free education. Yes. We shouldn’t forget education is a right. It’s for all. Everyone should have the opportunity to get the education they need. I respect to free education. I’m against the education sellers. Im supporting to the people who try to give the education those who need it, those who wish and like to take it. I support to well organize nongovernmental education institutions. There are nongovernmental educational establishments in the world. To gain something good we should take risks. We should do dedications. 

Elementary dreams

Dreams were the major force to send a man to the moon.

I was wondering to be a big man when I was a child, after all we become grown and again we are thinking who we are. When I was a student I liked to wear handsome, what I thought was how many people live without good clothing. Then I got used to wear normal dresses. Than a handsome one I like to be a normal person. One of the normal people. People may think becoming normal is easy but it is not. Self determination and view and discipline is very important to become a such person. I know there are many like me who would like to be the best but who stay calm. Im not putting credits to my own account. It is a state of satisfaction with small number of wills and needs. When I think buy many expensive books for schooling I thought why should I do this. There are cheap books. I can use them. Somehow my father each and every year bought me new school books to me. When I was a small one this made my eyes wet. I saw my parents were trying to dress me even without thinking of them. To feed even without thinking own needs.  For sure their thought was the most respectful and humble in my world. Even for today I worship to those principles of life. Spending a small life as a normal man. When we asked something my parents did everything to do it. They never asked why we needed it.  Sometimes my mother advised me not to ask each and everything what I see. The biggest lesson in my life. BE A SATISFIED PERSON. This is why I would like to live with Elementary dreams and needs.  Living with small things is very easy. 

Last May Day celebration in Russia as a student. 

I can still remember the first May first demonstration which we took part as university students. The significance of the celebration and demonstration is we were celebrating the day in Special country. Whole celebration connected with the Russian society and their thoughts. Theme of the celebration is not the socialism. Civil rights, Development, historical victory of labors (8 working hours) and integrity of the nation. There were no many red flags, but there were many Russian Flags. There was one May Day rally even though there are many political parties. It wasn’t a moment or a day to attain narrow political needs. All the political parties took part in the main demonstration and campaign in the red squire. This is what the real meaning of the May Day to a country like Russia. Russia still coming up through the ashes of collapsed system. The system named Socialism.  There were no separate political parties in the celebration but there was unity. There were no many colors. There were real workers from each and every working group. There was a wish which whispered in every heart unity, integrity, sovereignty, civil rights, labor rights and one country.  When we turn our eyes to our countries May Day celebration is one of the best jokes in the year. Each and every political party celebrates it without a true meaning. They shout but no meaning, they promise but no outcome. Hope to celebrate next May Day in Sri Lanka.

This was the May Day celebration letter in my face book profile. What we should think about such a celebration is the meaning of the celebration.  For many politicians and political parties such a occasion is a political play ground. Some new politicians do the same as their senior colleagues. Finally the meaning fade and the political play rules the in the event. I would like to talk about something new in the May Day. Why do we celebrate it? I think the best reason is we have a big labor community. Actually this is not a Day of politician’s. This day reserved for working community. Especially working economy class people. In such a day a government should think about what they have done to improve living and working conditions. It doesn’t matter to what group or the party the politician belongs. As Im a medical student I would like to talk about the health of the labor community in the country (In majority of the countries). Some factories which were condemned by the developing countries due to the harmful effect and high environmental pollution are planted in small developing countries. Intentionally or without intentions our politicians have given the right to implant such factories in the countries. Did we check the effect of such development programs? There are many labors who works in very harmful working environments. Did the politicians take a step to improve their working conditions?  Many labors have no health cover to maintain a good health. I think we have to add new regulations to save the working community from the harmful effects of their occupations. There is no real assessment in the working conditions in many industrial sites. There are very few who make sound to improve the workers Social, mental and health conditions. I hope to celebrate next May Day in my own country. I hope there would be many changes in the policies. Changes in the political parties never bring a big development but changes of policies do many changes.

Tragedy of the motherland.

I’m going to discuss a disgusting topic. Children of Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan mother Sri Lankan father and a Buddhist. The person tells that he doesn’t belong to any ethnic group or country. (A universal character.)The person is living in a English speaking country. I’m not going to tell what the country is. I think it’s not relevant. This guy claims that he doesn’t belong to any ethnic group. I saw through his eyes that he was very proud to pretend that he doesn’t know his mother tongue. The Sinhala in the English accent made him proud but a disgusting moment to us. Sri Lanka is the only country which claims its own rights to keep a Sinhala majority government with a Buddhist president. Majority of Sri Lankans don’t see the value of a motherland and a unique language. Instead we have welcome to English killing our own language. For Some people not knowing Sinhala is an honor.

This is why Sri Lanka always face problems in the international politics. Its new generation is Shy to tell that they have eaten rice with a coconut SAMBAL. They are shy to tell that they have eat jack fruit for lunch. This is our new generation. They never were a Saron. Many of them think wearing national dress as a insult. They don’t know how to worship their parents.  They shy to take a ride in a CTB bus. They forget their mother tongue within few years living overseas. Mother and father from sri lanka, Buddhist family but they claims that they don’t belong to any ethnic group. They know that they are Sri Lankans but they are so shy to admit it. This is what the mentality of our new generation.

Why these generations love McDonalds than Monuments of Anuradhapura? Why they don’t like to read a Sinhala poem and memorize it? The questions still remains open to discussion.

As Lord Buddha ordered Virudha, Viripaksha, Veishya and Vaisrawana save our motherland! May they obtain the good sins and live long. I wish to see a real Sri Lankan generation than a group of Muppets who controlled by Britain.
